My new Stiller Predator (single shot) finally arrived.
It has a Maddco 1-8" barrel, 26" long,
0 MOA Stiller rail,
thanks to crackers17 for the Burris rings to hold my Leupold 6.5 - 20 X 50 scope on,
Jewell trigger and
Geoff Slee laminated stock.

Haven't fired it as yet, I've had to get some projectiles ordered in.
Must say I'm looking forward to shooting it.

Although i like your theory it is relatively easy to find consistent load data for a 6br so it was a pretty easy decision

Thanks mate,

I was going to try the Sierra 107 gr Match Kings first, they seem to be the easiest to get here at the moment. Even had to get those ordered in though. No one in Canberra has any Bergers either or any brand of heavier match projectiles for that matter, but I might give them a try later too.

Finally got to some projectiles and had a chance to do some load testing today.
Was quite windy today at Majura but I went anyway because I really wanted to try my new rifle out.
Load was new Lapua cases, Sierra 107 Gr Match Kings and went from 29.4 to 30.2 grains of 2208 in .2 Gr increments.
I ended up only firing the first load, 29.4 grs, because the wind got really strong and gusty and I really wanted some good conditions to try my loads out because my wind reading is probably not good enough to test loads in those conditions.
Anyway, I'm pretty happy with the first load it fired, I actually made up 10 rounds of the first load to make sure that I was on the target and then a 5 shot group that at the best I can measure is .209"
