Looks like the next evolution of a Browning Maral with more "spring assist" for bolt closing?

Yeah, I like the idea as well ......
.... that concept could go farther yet, too. An interrupter on the side of a Ruger 10/22 perhaps?
....my only issue is if it creates a sh!tfight like the Adler did. Did I say if?

1. That will upset the government *IF* it was brought into Australia *AFTER* they release the new NFA (which is intentionally being delayed until after the election). They would have to go through the entire process all over again to determine how to classify it. Thumb action repeating rifle...
2. Other than the side mounted position of the thumb lever, isn't that pretty much a single action? Imagine the whining from certain anti's if it was classified as non-repeating single action...
3. Based on the video, it'll only be a matter of time before someone floods the market with a gizmo that attaches to the bolt handle that automatically depresses the thumb-lever each cycle. (c) The Raven - awaiting royalties...

Anti brigade are already aware of it. I don't think it'll be stopped coming, unless it's cheap. The only reason the Adler was an issue was it's half price compared to the older designs. If the Adler was $2000, we'd never have seen a furore.
Cheers...
