Re: 22x47 finished
I was looking for the scope rings and cursing myself that I'd lost them but of course I swapped the scope, and therefore rings, onto the JAB 20 so I might swap it back to test this out while I think what scope to get and get the money together.

Looks like a shooter.
Should get a lot of pleasure out of that, in the days to come.
Well done.

Re: 22x47 finished
You know I reckon that stock looks shit
No flowing lines the vertical grip just looks wrong
Lucky I have shot the 6/250 and realise how comfortable it is.
I have a Simmons 6-18 you can try on it Trev

Re: 22x47 finished
yes Andrew the stock is not the prettiest, forend too short, They have a new version with a longer forend and higher $$$ I believe but I leapt on this when I saw it on abused guns, They are by far an away the most comfortable stock to shoot I have ever used

Re: 22x47 finished
Hi trev,
I also have a spare leupold sitting around gathering dust 8.5-24x50 vxiii (I think)
Has the varmint reticle and 30mm tube, side parallel adjustment.
I was thinking of moving it on, so let me know if your interested.
Just getting it out there.

Re: 22x47 finished
Picked it up today.
The dummy cases I sent down were loaded with 55NBT. The reamer as it came made my OAL 20 thou too long. Awesome, easy to seat those deeper and allows more flexibility with other pills (like the 53VM I am keen to try)
It looks even better in the flesh. The cerakote colour is nowhere near the sample but it matches the stock (HS Precision) and ended up better than I hoped.
I had never seen a Lilja no 6 barrel (6/250 is a 7) but it is just right (barrel length 26 inches BTW)
Tonite I get to feed all my 195 cases and those that chamber will be fired as is and those that dont will be frigged around with until they do!
Teepee I bought one Loopy VX# 6.5-20 x40 and not a huge fan. Bought another second hand for my 257Wby but that was cos I was going tightarse on the gun and it was like new for $400.
I will probably put one of those (off the 17m4 as it is hardly used) on this to get it up an running and after we are in the new house I will buy something I like
PS Eastec is trading fully as Procal as Luke has bought all Pete's stock. You dont know how much of a struggle it was to keep that credit card locked up with all that Lapua brass just sitting there!!
