Thats it fellas its a Nikon Buckmasters 4.5-14x40 its only a temporary scope until I work out exactly what I want on it.

Had to buy factory rounds to get brass... Only problem is the Hornady Superformance does 4225fps and I wonder if they shoot whether or not I should just stick with them?

Well done Keith

I have a Ruger Predator in .204 and it's one rifle I wont be selling. Great calibre but destroys bunnies using 39gs. You'll have some much fun with that one!

Regards

Let us know how the Nikon scope compares. I've been hearing good things about their price/quality.

It's ok, it was on my 17hmr, I think I want something starting at 3x for fox whislting though. This gun is going to be my fox gun day or night if I'm on foot.

Yeah true who would want a rifle that just shoots great for under $900 and just works out of the box. It makes me roll my eyes too..

Good choice, I'm very happy with my varmint s/s in 204 topped with a meopta, it's already paid for itself with the vic fox bounty.... and 39sbk's are great if you get onto good supply.
