This rifle started off life as my uncle's 22-250 he gave it to me, I replaced the barrel with a 308win barrel and Andrew recently offered to refinish my stock and it is now my deer hunting rifle.
As you can see it looked a lot uglier in its stock standard configuration
This is what it use to look like:
Here it is now:
Thank's so much Andrew, you did a brilliant job and I really appreciate it mate, it will not be forgotten!

Been wondering what happened with that one mate, looks like the big falla's magic is still strong. It certainly has made a difference to the look of it. Does it shoot any better.

Haven't shot it yet haha. It is a huge difference in looks though. I'm over the moon with it.

Just noticed, new scope and mounts, should have kept the full bridge, looks a lot better with the fore sight gone as well.

Yep, looking good. Didn't look too bad before, but the clean barrel and Missed stock do improve it. I wouldn't mind a model 70 in .243 or 7mm-08.

It's a loaner scope, I actually am not sure what to put on it. If I wasn't getting the 300Win Mag I'd put on a 2-10x42 Zeiss Conquest HD5 on it but its just a bit to much with the 300Win project.

Beautiful rifle mate. Some fool over here just put a tactical scope and rail, muzzle break and had the stock inletted to take a stupid 10 round detachable mag. Totally ruined a nice hunting gun.

a swaro z3 3-9x36 or 3.5-10x42 would be nice on top, but leupies do suit winnies, take a look at a vx6 2-12x42
