Can't see any reason not to get the 30inch over the 28.
I should point out my O/U is closer to 30inch than 28. Can't say I've used it much but it's never been a problem with bunnies.

A bit of weight and it will point a bit quicker being shorter. Other than that no. My Miroku is 30" and I have no problems with that!
