Hi all,

I have been very fond of these sako 22's and finally picked one up. Excellent condition, perfect wood, nice heavy barrel with threaded muzzle, had very little work by the original owner. I am still yet to get my hands on it but I thought I'd just see if anyone has had any experience with one and would like to pass over any info or thoughts.

I'm hoping to put my 8.5-25x50 on it, I know it's probably overkill but it will mostly be shot during the day and 8 will be fine. The thing is, can I fit rings like kelbly's? I'm not that keen on the sako optilock ring/base set as I have a set on a L461 that I wish to swap.

When I get it, I'll put some pic's up and document some load development.

Thanks for your time.

Dave

Try google for rimfire technology in the US. They do 0 and 20 MOA piccy rails for quad and P94s. I have two and reckon they are great.
Try www.rimfirecentral.com under the sako thread.

A P94S is a rimfire that you buy and never sell. They have a great reputation that is well deserved.

Chappo,

Thanks for the direction, I couldn't find the 20moa rail but the straight rail will do fine.

Thankyou gents
