Took delivery of my new deer stalker today; a little Ruger No.3 in 7x57Imp (28deg). At 6 1/2lbs with scope it should be good to carry in the foothills around here!

The scope is an old Bushnell 4x40, clear as! I have a spare 4x81 Pecar as a replacement!

Mounted the Pecar and shot this 10 shotter with fire forming loads of 160gn Hornady RN; five into a single ragged hole!

Thats awesome BAW, what distance? a good group with a 4x is always an achievement.

That's 100m off a bench, not a brilliant group by size (10ring is 50mm) but about a good as I can hold with a 4X and fine cross hair. Wouldn't hesitate to use on deer out to 200m!
