Gone and done it again

Just ordered my 3rd hummer from the LGS. Had a single shot, sold it for a bolt action. That bolt action was sweeeeeeet and shot genuine 1/2 inch at 100yds on a calm day. I sold it as I had it in my head that I could download my 20 prac to that velocity or use the 22. Now ordered my 3rd (another marlin since the last one was so good) Sometimes the 20 prac is too much gun for one of my shooting properties and the 22 just lacks a little when I find foxes looking at me.

If I look to sell it on here can someone please tell me to THINK AGAIN THIS TIME.

Yeh that and sometimes I want enough rabbit left to eat. With 39gr blitzkings, its too tempting to shoot em low and try hang them up on the top fence wires

Yuk, throw them in the bushes and buy some lambchops on the way home.

Andrew I didnt. Its too much effort stuffing around with those loads then adjusting scopes back and forth. Easier to have two guns.

Owen. Just pray next time your over that we dont have chicken for dinner. Because it may not be chicken. Guarantee you wont be able to tell either

Try Stephanie Alexander's cook book "Mary's rabbit pie". It has converted a lot of people around here.....

Boil them in chicken stock, a couple of garlic cloves, white wine and rosemary until meat is falling off the bone. Then roll in seasoned flour, egg wash then breadcrumbs and shallow fry. Dip in sweet chilli as your eating it. Mmmmm fried rabbit.

All the work you guys are going to just to make the little buggers edible reminds me of that old joke...

Take back legs off rabbit, soak in water, wrap in bacon, add spices, onions other flavouring, wrap in foil with house brick cook for hours until rabbit meat tender, throw away rabbit, eat house brick.
