Hey Guy's,

I am wondering if anyone out there knows where I can get my hands on a Boyd's Tacticool Stock to fit a CZ452 .22LR?
They are pictured here http://www.boydsgunstocks.com/TACT-CZ-4 ... 00-411.htm
I don't care about the finish or colour, they just fit me perfectly.

Boyd's are no longer exporting them :(

If anyone knows of someone here in OZ that has one in stock or has any information on how i can get my hands on one that would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Langers

Yeah that was my first option, hence why I am now looking elsewhere :-(

If the damn thing didn't fit me so well I would not be so sad they are no longer exporting them.

I can copy tosh's easy. Mate here has a stock copier machine. Im copying my f standard one over the next few weeks for a f open gun . You just need to steal his stock so I can sort it. Timber is easy and I can sort that. In fact I might copy it twice so I have one as well.

Will ask the guy. Might take a little while to do and will have to sort a price, but should be possible. He just did a heap of f class stocks so should be interested in doing something else for sure. Will see him tuesday.

The only reason they cannot/will not export things is because they call them tactical right? Geeez they are a dumb bunch of bastards over there. Just call it "sport" for exports and tactical for the idiots in the states! Its a .22lr FFS! Its about as tactical as a slingshot!
Never could understand that.

A few years ago in Victoria farmers could not sell malting grade barley to anyone else but the barley board. So as it happened a grain trader in nsw came up with "special feed" grade that had the same specs as malt. It allowed us to sell for a better price but stay legal. It's not hard.

Brad,

I would be interested in an uninletted copy too.

Hahah MISSED its a combined version of CRAPTICOOL AND TACITFOOL.

Guys

I will speak to said current owner of the stock and the guy who can make them. As long as both are happy to go ahead all is good. Will post details as soon as I know something.

Guys

Have spoken to my mate with the machine. IF we can get the original stock he can copy it no probs. Main problem is pricing. He cant produce a stock for as cheap as Boyds do as it still takes his time on the machine copying ( I expect boyds probably have it all computerised for that price). Price wise your looking around the $400 mark for laminate (all he currently works with) The stocks will be about 95% inletted (uninletted will be a bit cheaper if you want them like that). They will need sanding and finishing as well.

If you are still willing to go ahead please send me a PM by the end of the week so I can book it in with him. Obviously the more there are, the cheaper it will turn out.
