Pays to keep your rifles in good nick
Pays to keep your rifles in good nick
Had a bit of a win at the lgs yesterday. A few years back I bought an old sportco .22 from said shop. First thing I did when I got it home was the strip in back, and throw on a new coat of lacquer. Fast forward to now and I just sold the rifle back to them for the same price I paid for it, with them quoting 'its in such great nick'. Now after the cooling off period (damn ACT laws) ill have a new savage btvs .22 in the safe next to its twin .17hmr.
