Having just agreed to buy a 6mmBR smithed by Shane Clancy I was working out funds when the opportunity came up to grab a nice Sako L579 varmint in
22-250. Much to the wife's disgust I picked up both guns today.

I'm a happy little Vegemite as I've always wanted a L579 to go with the L461, quad and finnfire.

Righto Chappo it has been a few weeks now where are the pics?

Been waiting on some mounts which arrived yesterday. Photos soon I promise.

Righto you blokes. No they are not in a hock shop so dont even think about it.

My camera batteries were flat so I took a couple of pics with the iphone. (sorry about the quality)

First is my three sakos. From top is Sako L579 in 22-250. Sako quad varmint in 17HMR and bottom is Sako P94s Varmint in its BR stock. Missing is my L461 which is being rebarreled at the moment into a 20 VT. 2nd photo is the L579 and the quad. 3rd is the new Stolle Panda in 6BR. I have painted the stock in a bright blue with a two pack clear and polished the panda action. Wish this was mine but I bought it for my young fella as he wants to get into fly shooting next year. Have a 20MOA piccy rail on the way from Kelbys but need to save up for another nightforce for him now. Ill get some group photos once the vartarg finally gets back from the gunsmiths.
