Nice looking group Thomo.

What distance, and which model T3?

I've shot a T3 Hunter in 22-250, and enjoyed that. It was a nicely balanced rifle (for me) and looked good to boot.

The rifle was a T3 Stainless Varmiter, at the time of shooting that group it was wearing a Night eater scope, i replaced the scope with a much better one as soon as i could afford one but i had some fun with it.

The group was shot lying prone at 100mtrs off a bipod with a rear bag on a dam bank in a paddock. The rifle realy did shoot well and i should have done a few range shoots and such to stir the pot.

About my little vid, i have no idea how to put it on You tube, I will get the vid edited and send one to Keith for him to put up here (having been saying this for ages, but i will get it done ASAP, keep at me)

If I was going to buy a bang for your buck factory rifle it would be a hard thing to pass up a T3. I do like the look and function of the CZ 527's and the seem to be fairly accurate though. But at the end of the day ive seen more T3's fired and never seen any go over thier 1MOA claim. Just wish they did their varmint model in a wood stock!

I've got 2 20 cals and a 17 and 6mm varminter, about to order a 22/250 to turn into a 22x47 Lap (pretty much same powder capacity as a 22/250 ai). They all work, one will suit an individuals needs better than another.

IMHO you have more chance of a CZ or even a T3 being a tack driver straight out of the box than a rem. Both the euro rifle have good triggers and come floated. In the case of CZ the barrels are lapped.

Now we are talking small percentages here and hands down buy a rem if you want to customise (says the bloke with 2 customised CZs)

I've been lucky with all the remingtons I have bought all have shot right out of the box.Yes I did adjust the trigger on them but the accuracy has been exceptional.I do only buy the heavier barrel styles(sendero, police and varmiters).I have worked up loads for a lot of rifles over the last 30 odd years and I have seen some dogs in every make. But a lot of the time its often the driver not the rifle.A bloke brought me a light weight 300wsm that he couldn't get to group. My first three were .750 with factories.I let him shoot 3 and we got 2.5".He hated the recoil.I have also been given rifles that "wouldn't shoot" and gave them a good clean and Bob's your uncle.
A lot of the criticism of remington is justified but I have seen some ordinary rifles out of Europe as well.

Hey dangaff, i bought a cz 527 varmint last week. I seriously looked hard at the T3 but in the end i just liked the fit and the feel of the cz. (not that the t3 is bad or the rem 700, far from it but the cz just felt right to me). Shoulder both rifles and buy which ever one feels good. you really can't go wrong with either!
