I am old, I know and it shows when I use my 25.06 for near everything and only use the 223 when I am bored, but whats an I-Pod?????? and what the hell is a 204????? sounds like its somekind of new fangled wiz bang gadget that may solve all mankinds problems or is just a new breakfast cereal ??????? ......

Well Rinso, I'm not going to explain what an ipod is, as to tell the truth I have enough trouble just operating the basics on my mobile phone. Lets give the 204 a new name that you old blokes can relate to: "20-222 remington magnum". Hows that? Guess the 222 rem mag is more your vintage! And no, it doesn't solve mankinds problems, just the feral problem on a few properties...

My advice would be a calibre rifle combo you shoot well.Although a 220 swift does a rather nice job.

LOL - Just tell me what they do better then any other cartridge available today?

You run out of ammo once- just once on a trip- especially in a target rich environment and then you will understand where I am coming from

You can always take it home with you if you dont use it....

better to have it an not need it than .......

I take 2-3 tins of pellets (600) when I go to the cousins place- even though the most i have ever used is 3 magazines

Would just hate to run out

bear in mind that I used to get out every second or 3rd week-- now with this illness I dont get to go unless someone else can drive me
I'm not going to FU a trip by something preventable as running out of ammo
