It was a lovely 40+degrees when we took project Tikka back up to XWSSM's weekender to see if it has all been worthwhile. With the new Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50 locked in place hopes were high.

After setting up and using a load of 36.5gn of bm2 pushing a 50 gn Nosler balistic tip things were not looking good with groups out to 2 inches.
We changed to 41 gn of AR2209 still with the 50 gn Nosler ballistic tip and let me tell you things started looking up, with a best group measuring under .500".

So as soon as darkness came we jumped into the hilux for a night of destruction

Thanks tikka, I still want to do more work on the stock and once i have it how i want the plans are to make a fibreglass version of it.

To woob and bimbo, its a relief that that it has all come together and yes i am very happy with it.
