Hmmm running a 6br reamer in so you can use the 6x47lap brass with a br long neck. Bound to have been done before. Wonder what it’s called

Matt has a seperate 272 neck reamer we spoke about and will stick that in next time to make the neck longer , if you did what your saying you would pretty much have a standard 6x47 lap I think just slightly wider at the shoulder but only a couple of though

Yes mate there all fox and crow nightmares can't speak for the new cartridge yet but the swift ackley in a good gun is there worst nightmare
Sounds like it WAS their worst nightmare, but with a 65gner at 4400fps+ sounds like now there is a new titleholder (I don't have any doubts that with its preferred load it will shoot tiny groups).

The problem you would also have is that say the standard Br measures 470 at the base because the case has so much taper as you sink the reamer in the further you go the wider the base gets on your new cartridge ( because the reamer continues tapering
But the dasher worked Ok because it's got bugger all taper as the fired cases measure 461 at the shoulder and 471 at the base
