Technically no Trev
As it’s a 6 mm dasher a bit longer to the shoulder neck junction than a 6x47 lap and a short neck same as a dasher
I sent cases to whidden for a full length bushing die

A lapdash? it suits you. I think you and dash are the first that come to mind when I think of cases with as much powder stuffed in as possible

Lapdash sounds like a stripper in a hurry

Thats some impressive speed through the chrony.

It's in a hurry alright
I will know more after tomorrow but initial testing says it will beat the swift ack by at least 200 fps
I did no load development at all really , I S shooting 5 shot groups at 450 yds and chrony at same time
The best I got was a 3 inches at that range but as I say there was no effort other than load and shoot
Velocity with this load was a 65 vmax , 42 grains reloaded 17 and 4080 fps and there is room to go faster

Very impressive mistit. Love the way you keep pushing the boundaries.

So it's basically a 6mm dasher but using a 6x47Lap case? Is that because Lap case is heavier and better able to stand up to heavy powder charges and high pressure?

It's based off a lap case fired into a dasher reamer sunk in a lot further so you end up with a longer case so it looks like a dasher on steroids

Cheers.

It would be great to see a fire formed case beside a 6BR, 6Dasher, 6-220proved and .243 (or similar) for comparison.

Are you suggesting he come up with a stripper name for his rifle?

left to right
Swift ackley , 6 mm paroz , 6 Br
The 6 mm holds similar case capacity to the swift ack but will withstand more pressure due to the small primer pocket
