Recalling my comments on Howa 223 twist rates some months ago, I notice some gun shops are still incorrectly advertising them as 1:12. A little more care and updating of their websites may lead to better sales.

Well it looks like Howa mini had a price rise on Nov 1st guys, which is a bit hard to understand as theyre Jap made. So once old stock disappears expect to pay upto 10% more !!!

Not sure who's making the decision on pricing but i dont see its justified, come on OSA whats going on ??

And i export monthy to Japan so Im aware of cost pressure !!

On the 1st of November Nioa had a 10% price increase, i was told that Raytrade already had one and the others were going to as well. Its what happens when our dollar drops.

Do you know for sure that OSA import them from Japan? I would put my money on them importing them from Legacy sports which is a US based company and they would be in USD and not Yen. OSA list a few other products Legacy Sports sells as well. A mate imports gear from Europe and he pays for some on them in Euro, USD and Pounds so the location isnt always everything.

A few pics on a rainy afternoon. Bloody hard to fault Greg, awesome work, seemed to fit all who threw it to the shoulder !

Caught up with Adam today and grabbed my mini, came with the development stock. Talley Lightweight Low rings on #930700, budget Miinox ZA3 3-9x40 Plex. Adjustable cheekpiece should be on it midweek.

For anyone who wants to check it out, it will be on display at Safari Firearms from wed for a few weeks. :)

Glad you like it, I should get the cheekpiece sorted today and on the way. The cutout near the front of the action on the top of that stock is bugging me, I'll start on some proper ones this week. I've also made the bolt cutout 1mm deeper, you'll see the bolt handle just touches the bottom of the cutout when you close it.

I'm also changing the slots in the front slightly so there's room for a thread in front of and between the slots for a sling stud or whatever.

Looks excellent Greg.

I notice that a certain gunshop in Margate Qld has barrelled actions on its website in blued and stainless in 223 and 204. I wonder if the stainless 204s are actually in stock?

That's neat!

Apparently 6.5 Grendel will be released mid next year and 7.62x39 by end of 2016, that's US time....

was playing with a few dummy rounds last night, obviously the Grendel fits, 22-250 and the good ole Bee seem a natural fit also
