left side of the gun but may get hit in the face with hot brass! "ya follow"

So it is 20 to 30 YEAR since you have been to a range shoot?the 80's
Things have changed a little since then!
I have a right bolt left port centre fire and I have never been hit in the face with an empty case!
I don't think they would design them to eject into your face

Sorry Bec, I thought it was your first Nationals, that would make you a novice in my books regardless of the scores you can shoot on you home range week in week out. I have competed at national level for 2 years now even have a second to my name, but still consider myself a Novice, lots to learn and I need to find a way to control the nerves.
I have not seen A Stolle yet that has whats required to win at nationals, I thought maybe he has seen the error of his ways, as I have, and is trying to make up for it with more expansive gear.
