Do yourself a favor Richta, and buy a new CZ and it will kick Tikka's arse everytime, more features in the CZ too.

once you have had Shane Clancy work it over it will shoot great

All trevorT's that I have tried have and they have all had the SC treatment

if its a hunting rifle you are after most quality factory rifles will shoot adequate for hunting and more accuracy can generally be acheived by hand loading, so if it is a hunting rifle you are after go into your local gun shop try all the rifles they have in the shop and buy the most comfortable one there as this is the rifle you will be happiest shooting and if you decide later that you require more accuracy then you can get it rebareled and tricked up.

Ogre that comp I won was with the factory trigger and factory stock and barrel. All SC had done was lighten the trigger and bed and float

Guess I'm a desciple…..I think the model one was taller than me when I was first allowed to use it in the fifties

Out of interest here’s some gear I got to tidy the CZ up:

Three round flush magazine and new bottom metal without the magazine web (CZ Europe), hex head action screws (JP Custom Products) and flush magazine for single loading (Calhoun).

Now looks aesthetically 100% and is a delight to carry seeing as the magazine is right at the balance point.
