The scope base, looks like you've done away with the ruger system & drilled & tapped the action.

sure is drilled and tapped, and because the top of the action wasn't aligned propley, bedding compound was used to raise up one end to create a perfect level, as well as being incredibly stong. this also means that it cannot be removed easily, but then, why would i want to?
let me know if any has ever done all this to a ruger action?
