I think out of the box is relative to the coin passed for them.!!!
More coin payed the better the accuracy generally.!!

You mentioned PS with regard to the LRPV in another thread. I've never even seen a copy, so for now can you tell us what it said?

Remingtons XR 100 in 223, 22-250 and 204 shoot brilliantly straight out of the box.

Around $1700 for a rifle that shoots ragged holes from the factory packaging ... maybe I am getting old but you get what you pay for IHMO.
Its costs a lot more to buy and use a rifle that needs bedding & a trigger job etc (add that to the price) only to sell it at a loss and buy quality later.
cheers

yes you do, but my savage shoots nice raggy holes too.. and it was 300 bucks cheaper. Not saying the XR100 isn't nice though.. don't get me wrong here.

Ahhh,
Now the truth comes out ... Savage are good rifles mate but no one had mentioned the XR 100 and it is a demon, so I did.
ps
If you bought a Leupold scope then you handed back the $300 you saved
cheers

too true, however I managed to save about $500 on the leupy via TOZ. Please don't get me wrong Rinso, I'd have an XR 100 cept I'm a lefty and they're highly recommended, there are some amazing target examples on this site from XR's.

klicker,
Sounds like you got a good deal all round then.
Please don't get me wrong Rinso
Mate its all good, its all about opinions and if someone asks for opinions its best they get a range of opinions to look at. Imagine how boring it would be if we all agreed on everything.
cheers
