Glen are you gonna try that re 26 in this? I’m reading it may work but Alliant might have betterer options. I’m getting a bit fizzy

Well the cases arrived. Now necked down to 260 and awaiting fireforming.

10x lap 308 lrp cases

10x lap Palma srp cases

Will give them a run tomorrow.

I’ve just agreed to purchase 50 new lap 260 and 50 he has fire formed. Let’s hope he did it well

Kickin, what were your findings with the large rifle and small rifle primer test? What powder did you try?

I’ll let you know Saturday afternoon. These will be fireforming loads but should give an indication.

Will run hotter loads the following Saturday at the little river fly shoot.

Rightio, was very pressed for time and only recorded velocities as the target was blown away.

Lap 308 brass necked to 260Rem 140gr bthp 43gr 2209 and a cci 200 primer. Velocities were between 2670 and 2700 over 10 shots.

Lap 308 Palma brass necked to 260Rem 140gr bthp 43gr 2209 and a cci 450 primer. Velocities were between 2705 and 2760 FPS over 10 shots.
