Good thanks mate, so how is it going with regard to loading for it, the accuracy should be pretty good, being what its pedigree is.

Havnt even started yet, running 50 grain sellier and bellots ATM and it's shooting fairly well, still saving brass and need to find a die then I'm set!
Best accuracy that I've have found so far out of a factory load would have to be the Winchester super varmint when I can find them
This is a fox I shot at about 250-300m, using Winchester super varmint (Sierra tipped in 55gr )
Need to start taking more pics of kills

Good stuff, like seeing dead foxes. How do those mounts suit you, I think you were going to have a look around for some a little lower ? The Lynx web site might be a good place to look, I don't know, but they would have made mounts for these rifles either when they were Hilver or Tasco, bloody good solid bridge mound, windage adjustable rings, and all steel Aussie made as well.

I can vouch for the Hilver Bridge Mounts - got em on a few of my rifles and they are bloody good, never had an issue with any of them ever, put em on, screw em down and that's it solid as a brick shite house.

Re: tikka m55 .222
had a hillver bridge mount, unfortunately they shut down and cant get big scope mounts in the brand (so I have been told) leopold are the closest thing and I don't really have a spare $150 at the moment.
camel there the ones that come with the scope, I think there crap but they do hold sight, I need to find mounts to set the scope back a bit, gun shop had weaver scope mount and rings on it with the 56mm objective but I was disgusted when I found coke can strips under the scope to lift it up that bit more (6 strips each mount)

Go here to their web site and follow directions to their on line store, should be the same as getting anything online

I have a bridge mount here for a 55. If I can find it and it's what you are after, a deal can be done for Ivy's army.adamtikkam55 wrote:had a hillver bridge mount, unfortunately they shut down and cant get big scope mounts in the brand (so I have been told) leopold are the closest thing and I don't really have a spare $150 at the moment.
