wise choice mate, the rem short action can be nicely customised as well. Trued up with a benchrest quality barrel they will drive nails and be good for F class competition too.

Your girlfriend will dis own you once we are finished recommending stuff for you hahaha.

haha she will get over it she doesn't mind having a shoot to. i was looking at putting a tacticle stock on it wat should i be looking for like when it has wat rifles it will fit e.g rem 700 sps and all the other models in the 700 range if that makes sence

mate im glad to hear u have gone for the .223 instead off the 8mm when i bought my first gun it was an old 303-25 for $50 i still have it and i have managed to get it shooting good finaly after 2 years messing about with it but in the meantime i lashed out and bought a ruger mkII VT 22-250 for $1250 and then an olivon 6-24x50 mill dot scope for another $250 put it together and it was the best thing ive done so far but SHHHH dont tell brad y hes been trying to tell me this for ages hehe

yeh thats cos your 25 is a POS. I personally cant see the point in messing around with $200 guns and hoping they shoot. Better off getting something that is more reliable and will give you good resale value if you want to upgrade.
