Re: New Anschutz
There was a review a few SSAA mags ago.
They are built on the 64 action, supposedly not as accurate as the 54, I dont know as I have only ever owned 54 actions.
Still looks the goods and would be well worth a look.
Potters had them in stock a few weeks ago but are out of stock at the moment I think.
I think they were around 14-1500 dollars.
Regards

Re: New Anschutz
Hi Kurcha,it has expensive tastes and likes the Lapua Midas ammo which groups well at 50 and 100m.Then it seems Federal is it's next pick.
I don't shoot it a lot anymore but occassionally take it down to hit the rabbits.
Have a good one,
Macca

Re: New Anschutz
I've got a 64MPR. If this was out when I bought the MPR i'd buy this instead because all I shoot is bench.
Less weight. Better Stock. It would shoot as good.
My MPR has been a little finicky. There was some SK pistol match that it liked which wasn't too costly but it really likes the good stuff RWS R50.
I've put a tuner on it and it will now shoot federal gold medal like it was RWS. SK Match is good now too.
The tuner, a new stock and a proper bedding job and it can now run with the 54 actions Annies for a lot less than the dollars they're going for.
