I have this problem with Shaun now learning about the cows. Now he can tell em apart I can't get away with "nah we've had that one for ages"...

I thought that line was for wardrobe related items or shoes.

Well I collect livestock beef and dairy cows, pigs, geese, chickens... even had goats for a while but they were too naughty (the kids, anyhow).

I even get tempted to keep sheep occasionally (I like the look of black faced Suffolk) but have to remind myself how incredibly stupid sheep are regardless of how tasty... and i have a friend who keeps dorpers we trade for pork and cheeses anyway

I'm especially bad with poultry... need to do a massive cull right now. Ive got way to many chickens and no one is laying because of the weather.

A tommy hawk stuck into the chopping block just outside the door to the chook coop seems to encourage egg production.

I usually find sharpening the cleaver within sight of the coop to be somewhat motivating :p

Sigh....chicken math according to Dunderi 1 chicken + 1 chicken = 150 chickens
