A couple I know of up here have shot better after a re-crown. Worth a try.

Mate dropped in the shop last weekend with a target shot with a 308 Lithgow he has for review.
3 shot groups but impressive for a factory rifle 168gr outback was under 0.2"

Might recrown the barrel and was thinking of setting the barrel back and rechambering it with a 22lr bentz match reamer, ill keep you all updated.
