Help needed POI shift

Hey guys/girls mates got a .204 that shifts poi every couple of days but still groups good

Background info
Rifle is a sako L461 was a .17 rem for years then started throwing shots assuming barrel was shagged he ordered a new .204 barrel from MAB worked a load using WIN748 and 39gr blitzking shot 1/2in groups or better. Now .204 is doing the same thing as the .17 was doing after less than 200 rounds it shoots a good group goes out shoots some foxes 2 nights later its moved 2in one way or the other but still groups good.

Fixes so far
New barrel from .17-.204
obviously new brass bullets tried different weights/brands still does it
rebedded stock (gunsmith)
new scope from Leupold vx3 to Swarovski z6
new rings and bases

Consistencies between the 2 calibres
same stock
same shooter
same powder WIN 748

The only thing i can put it down to is powder which we will be trying over the weekend.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Stock for sure, if it was a scope issue it wouldn't be shooting groups, same with powder. Something has to be changing with the stock.

Sounds like you have checked and replaced the usual culprits.
I would say you have a scope issue but you have checked / changed that.
I agree have a look at the stock and check barrel channel clearance, then action screw security and make sure that the action is actually seated in the stock properly.

Thats what I was thinking. Especially if its timber. Might not be sealed from weather and changing your point of impact. Otherwise the beding job needs looked ar again

Has the torque for the action screw(s) changed over time? Could have loosened off a touch from the vibrations and resonance.

Stock, action screws or bedding as others have said.
Scope perhaps.
It isn't that hard to move a swarvo with a bump in transport. It will still shoot groups but they are in a different place.
Just a thought.

It could be something as simple as parallax adjustment and cheek weld.

Thanx for the suggestions guys rings and bases were replaced when the swaro was installed, stock is original sako beavertail forend timber stock bedded twice and free floated by gunsmith all installed by gunsmith.

I think you might be onto something with the paralax he was complaining that it was out of focus and was getting shimmer at 200-300 yards when looking at a fox is the swaro that sensitive to paralax?

My factory stock on my .243 had a hairline fracture between the trigger channel and magazine channel once I replaced the stock no more probs and I only found the crack via careful inspection afterwards

Take the stock off, shove your fingers in the magazine cut out and flex it outwards. Hairline cracks happen there more often than you think. Somethings moving.
