I did full load dev with my 85 hunter and it also chose 46g of 2208 with 150g Sierra Spbt

One thing that should be considered is case weight or more correctly case volume,from Lapua cases to Winchester cases may be more than 10 grains of weight,round figures are like 1 grain of powder difference.

I have noticed a similar thing, I load 45gn 2208 into ADI cases and the powder is half way up the neck, only shoot 125gn bullets in my 308, wonder how much I could jam in with a ram rod. :mrburns:
