I have ordered a MBR for a 300WSM FO rifle, i can flex my forend with my hands and didn't think it would take the extra recoil of the 300 very well. It was a shame as i would have liked to have the same stock on both rifles.macca wrote:Nice setups. Good choice in cals.![]()
What load are you running in the 280AI.
I had an F class mcmillan and swapped it to the mbr.
In a 300wsm it was torquing badly. In a straight 284 it was not as bad but i still felt I was getting flex. Used another one later and could not fault it. So maybe some early ones had issues.
Cheers

Don't think you can go wrong with the MBR Seddo its proven itself time and again . especially with a 300 WSM .Seddo wrote:I have ordered a MBR for a 300WSM FO rifle, i can flex my forend with my hands and didn't think it would take the extra recoil of the 300 very well. Ditto the above. I have no complaints on my MBR. Tracks well. Yes shooting is easier if your gear is the same across the board. No having to remember those little nuances of each set up.
