Going to grab a 6BR barrel for my trued rem, both to shoot short range F class with 107gr bullets but also going to shoot varmints with it.
Can anyone suggest varmint loads for it? Looking at 70gr nosler BT's, maybe the 65gr vmax if it doesnt like the noslers. Have BM2, BM8208 and 2208 on hand with thousands of CCI450's.

I use the 70nbt in my 6/250. Probably going a little faster than the br case allows (3600 fps) Emphatic killers but they dont explode as much as some softer (thinking VMAX) pills

I dont think it will have any trouble being explosive as this barrel will be a 1:8 twist. The 50gr noslers in a 223 8 twist barrel are way more explosive than a 39gr SBK out of the 12 twist 20 practical.

I used 32 gr of 2208 with 58 gr vmax shot one hole groups all day and explosive was an understatement wicked on foxes

Brad, I have a 6BR with a 26" barrel and I use the 75 Vmax, 32.6 grains of 2208 and a CCI450. Lapua brass of course. Its an awesome load and very accurate. I don't buy anything else if I can get some 75 Vmax's.
Cheers

Awesome. Anyone got a 6mm 8 twist for sale cheap in heavy palma or heavy varmint?
