I know it has been done to death but here is photographic proof of the sheer Killing power of the 17 HMR.
Ammo used was Winchester supreme-

Its not proof unless you have a witness or the recovered projectile
Well done. Did you slip the shot behind the ear?

Nah Cam I can not take the credit for the kill in fact James and I were about 20k away
But I will say that it took more than 1 shot (2 CZ mags) and a quick duck and weave with side step as was explained to me she was trying very hard to have a piece of him

Many a pig have fallen to the 22lr over the years.!!
Well done on the pig hunt, but no big deal on the calibre used.!!

It's funny, 'cos there are people out there who will swear that the HMR will bounce off a rabbit's rib or a crow's breastbone, or a fox's rib or skull.
I guess pigs must be easier to kill than any of those.

I've yet to have one bounce off anything - except rocks or steel plate.

Haaaaaaaaa, the little Pill has done it again.
It is all about what is in your hand and the FPS, just does the rest.
Surely a .22WMR couldn't have brought it down.
