Had another one of those last evening, was the youngest daughters year 12 presentation night, she picked up a scholarship from the ADF, The Long Tan Youth and Leadership scholarship. Blew me out a bit, and made me very proud of her, and the fact that she is deemed worthy to receive such an historic and prestigious scholarship from one of the most significant events in our modern military history. Most of you will know the story of Long Tan, if you don't, or want to refresh your memory, have a bit of a read here:
