Yep got the phone call that every daughters father dreads. . . .
I am going to be a grandfather in Feb 2016.
I still think that my lil girl (23) is "pure" though and her grubby (heavy diesel mechanic) lil boyfriend did not touch her
Fark i am too young for this haha

You're going to be a WHAT
Congrats to all concerned, except of course that grubby little mechanic that's been messing with your princess
Seriously though great news, my sister recently became a grand parent and we had tea with her and my mother the other night and aww shit once the phone came out with baby photo's you could see how proud she was. Yeh, enjoy the experience and then hand them back
Cheers,
Waldo

Haha I was only 19 when Amber was conceived, so it may not necessarily be too far away.
My dad thinks he is too young to be a great-grandfather too so I'm in good company.
Thanks for all the well wishes though from all.

Wife is feeling it more than me, she was only 18 when we had Mitch, might be lucky to make 40 before becoming a grand mother

Kerriet became a grandparent 2014. I still reckon I'm too young so step grandparent doesn't count. But funnily enough it's a grubby diesel mechanic that's messing with my princess and over dinner on Monday night he told us all that he wanted kids in 3 years. My princess laughed!!!

Can't believe you let a dirty little mechanic tamper with her. Upside is grandad duties are all fun and then you hand the sugar filled little angels back.

I wonder what your father in law was thinking at the time.
Congrats and you'll be still young enough to take them on their first hunting trip.

Haha his opinion was made very clear, very loud, and very often
