Updating Forum Software

G'day all,

Over the next week or two there may be some downtime on AV due to upgrading the forum software.

We are upgrading to the latest version of PHPBB which is 3.1 this is a major upgrade and will see new features for us admin people and new features for you guys such as:
A New theme which has a responsive design, this will allow AV to look good on any device you log on to the site with.

There is also a new notification system that allows you to choose what to be notified about.

Another feature will be allowing us to allow some static pages with permanent information.

Finally there is new architecture to expand on the forum's functionality which will hopefully make it better for all involved.

So there will be a different look and some other bits and pieces will change but it will be for the best.

Ok We are mostly done, you might see a few small changes over the next couple of weeks as we customise the new software to suit AV but all functionality should still be here.

Please if you encounter any issues at all let GriMo or I know.
