I along with a couple of others (Trevor has already mentioned he is a part of it) are starting our own forum
Wasn’t what I was told at the time.

Yeah man, really felt like I was missing out on a 4 person forum
That’s pretty sad when your not one of the four and it’s your forum. Oh well…

Forums are pretty much dead. People have moved to other platforms. Starting a forum today is like starting a print newspaper.

Are we starting again or is this a continuation?!
Odd comments to be sure…

The main shooting forum here in Australia that I'm on gets over 700 replies a day

I couldn't handle a forum with 700 replies per day, would probably only read the relevant threads (like I do with some non-firearms forums).

Which is nothing compared to what they used to be though. You can’t deny that forums have severely declined. Places like Facebook, Instagram and Reddit really have diminished the popularity of forums which sucks as forums can’t be banned from a platform etc.

Not that I was ever in it for it, but some forums, particularly tech, car and motorcycle ones were legit businesses that had staff. You couldn’t start one of those up today, not with the forum as the main draw card at least.

Me too but it's also better than one that gets a post or 2 a week Image

Yeah, he tried to upgrade the server the other day but it fucked up, now been down for the last two days, guess the upgrade wasn't worth the effort, or so it seems. Waiting on some pms there as I sold stuff and can't post due to not getting information, bloody frustrating

It seemed alright for the first couple of days. Maybe some gremlins crept in and held the server hostage.

You did well. Hadn’t worked for me for a few days.
Seems to be back up now.

Gave it away to a good mate, Zastava M85 mini mauser action, brass, dies, Conquest scope, the one I originally built, got a spare barrel ready to fit to it as well. :D
