Havent really got anything planned, depends a lot on what else is on, guess Ill prolly do the usual, card bunch of flowers out of the garden, then a quiet bbq down the river fishing. Weather permitting, and also what she turns up with on the 5th."

Well thank you chaps, been an exciting day for sure, out to the brush camp at 7am, checking weights of bundles to go, re-cutting all the small ones, chucking out the rough as guts ones, welding job on one of the utes that broke a shocky mount off, up to the brush cutting site, showing new blokes how to cut brush and bundle it properly, genuine Indian curry for lunch, bloody hot hot hot, walk several km through the mallee locating more brush to harvest, then down to the stockpile to supervise loading the semi, counting bundles, rejecting more that were no good, then an hours drive home. Coffee, shower and chow tucker for dinner with the missus and youngest. Pretty buggered, but I spose I should expect that at my age trying to keep up with 20 year olds. There is still a bit of go in the old fella yet.

Barry, Daisy and all you other elder members, I hope I am still capable of doing this at your ages.

Yep Mark methinks you will be able to. When you let me know much earlier in the day you could have trouble with the Indians I got out some of my best John Wayne Westerns to send to you - however it seems you have been able to have a pow wow over some nice hot curry. What a way to spend the day , a sort of sheet raising day so to speak :)

If you mean doing what you did today, I'm not sure I ever could have. If you mean enjoying yourself even if it has a few adult beverages involved. I might be able to give you some guidance.

All the best and hope you have many many more.
