oh and if you have a yabby net, I just put a few in the dams, would be interested to see if they are still alive (you would have to throw them back, sorry)

Hi Trevort,
Sorry to say I probably won't make the weekend.
As you may be aware my FIL passed recently
We have a large family gathering happening over the weekend so
I'm thinking that's going to take up my time.
Thanks for going to the trouble of organising this.

Just got to paint the top, and screw it together.

mine is covered in automotive carpet, and it has metal plate to put your benchrest on, so there!

I went with 12mm MDF. It keeps the weight down and u don't plan on sitting on the edge anyhow.

You'll see this weekend. Unfortunately I may be later in Friday than planned. I have to more work to do that morning. I should be there mid-arvo.

Should be ok using MDF as long give everything a good coat of 3 of paint, don't forget the edges and underneath.

My plans to come along have hit a snag so won't be able to make it.

You shouldn't have any concerns about overheating barrels during the day - I checked the forecast daily max temps for the Landsborough area over the weekend and they are around 5-6 degrees C!

Sorry trev I've got my grandmothers 80th sat arvo/evening screws me up. Feel bad seeings as you've gone to the trouble off setting this up and seeing how many have to pull out.
