Australian sharp shooters demonstrate skills at international competition

Over 300 of the world’s best military marksmen from 20 countries have fought for the internationally renowned shooter’s title of Champion Shot at the Australian Army Skill at Arms Meet (AASAM) in Puckapunyal, Victoria.

Sargeant Woli Hamsan of Indonesia was awarded the title of Champion Shot by Chief of the Australian Army, Lieutenant General Rick Burr, AO, DSC, MVO, in a ceremony that recognised the 44-year history of one of the world’s largest military shooting competitions.
