Wagga 300m FLY and GROUP reminder to all

Gudday to all,
Just a friendly reminder about the POWER AMMO 300m FLY and GROUP at WAGGA:

Sat 27th March 300m 1/2 fly. 5 targets x 5 shots plus optional warmer target
Hunting and Target Classes (may shoot both classes)
9am Start

Sun 28th March 300m group 5 targets x 5 shots plus optional warmer target
Hunting and Target Classes (may shoot both classes)
9am start.

Awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each class in each event.
Costs are $30 per day or $50 for the weekend (second class in one event extra $10)

Rough camping available on the range.
Undercover concrete benches used.
ALL WELCOME and we would love to see you there no matter what kind of gun your using.

This is only the second year of the POWER AMMO shoot and we are working hard on improvements all the time. Wagga SSAA Range is located 28km South of Wagga.

Chappo what does the hunting class entail , and is there light and heavy in target class or all in together . Do we need to book a spot and what is the limit on numbers. should have gone last year but didnt and this year i have to shoot at Tumut. May be i could shoot fly as well. Paul D.....

no limit on numbers at this stage. As its a 1/2 fly (5 targets) we can get through a heap of details if needed. No need to pre book a spot but you can ring either Arthur or Don to register your interest if you want.

At this stage we are just seperating target and hunting classes, target is anything made or built to be a target rifle (note NOT VARMIT rifle) ie wide flat foreend etc. A remmy VSSF would be hunting but a savage F class would be a target rifle.

Like I said this shoot is still in its infancy and we may change rules etc as it grows.

Chappo is there going to be BBQ lunch availible on range or do we Ala Cart our own.

Could some one give directions or a mud map to the Wagga range from Albury as there are about four from here going, Thanks ,Chop.
