Hi All

The results for today's Townsville 1000yd match for the postal with the US is now up in the results section.

After being rained out in February there were only a small contingent of shooters today. The shooting was challenging as usual with conditions looking rather good however there was something that kept most guessing for the day.

In HG small group, high score and aggregates went to JR with 8.170", 95, 8.885" and 184 respectively.

In LG small group went to myself with a 5.009". Single target high score and aggregates to Tony Z with 47, 8.212" and 93 respectively.

All in all a good day was had by everyone.

Great to be back shooting again , 1st match for '10 for me .. A new barrel with less only 50 rounds and a completely new set of winds did not make it an easy slide back into shooting but great fun .In 14 years i have never shot the winds we had Sun arv at 1000yds ,basically a switching southerly, made for a entertaining set of targets ,vertical could be described as challenging to say the least .. Just have to wait now to see if someone else at one of our Aussie ranges can dust me up in the Virginia 1000 postal comp.. Hope to have the load worked out for our Big Easter comp ..JR..Jeff Rogers
