2010 IBS International 1000yd BR Postal Match Info
Posted: Sun Feb 28, 2010 2:50 pm
The scheduled match dates for the Virginia 1000yd BR club are listed below.
* Matches 1&2-March 6
* Matches 3&4-April 3
* Matches 5&6-May 8
* Matches 7&8-June 5
* Matches 9&10-August 14
* Nationals-September 3-5 (Hosted by the Minnesota club)
* Make-up Date-October 2
* Make-up Date-November 13
The Virginia club have recently had a change of office bearers with Mr Jeff Green being elected as the new president.
Jeff has reinforced his and The Virginia Club’s commitment to the continuing encouragement, support and promotion of Australian IBS 1000yd BR and the International Postal Match concept.
He has also indicated that in addition to placing our results on the Virginia club website, he intends to publish the International Postal Match results in the Precision Shooting Magazine.
IMHO, should this eventuate, it will be a positive and tremendous promotion and recognition of both Australian IBS 1000yd competitors and Australian IBS 1000yd BR in general.
For those who may not already be aware, matches held this month at the Canberra and Townsville (and any other participating Australian venues) will be combined for our 1st International Postal Match Comparison of 2010.
catch ya in Canberra next weekend
cheers
