Hi all , Need A bit of help ,please have a look at the pic and tell me if either the lots of 155 palma style bullets in your opinion have been meplat uniformed .. Also include if you think all of them have been done or even none of them ,, So question is it the
A/ the 5 on the left
B/ the 5 on the right
C/ all 10
D/ none
The overall length measurements are from the left
#1= 1.290
#2= 1.291
#3=1.292
#4= 1.289
#5=1.288
And on the right
#1= 1.290
#2=1.291
#3=1.289
#4=1.289
#5= 1.289
just incase the length is a give away
Now before you think i've lost it there is a comp in AUS where it is illegal to trim the point of a bullet, any way just tell me what u think..JR..Jeff Rogers

The lot on the right - maybe. The hole looks a bit bigger. Is that Fullbore you're talking about Jeff ? I have seen comments from some Fullbore shooters that the Dyer bullets are more uniform than the Sierras...

Gee JR could you give us a higher resolution piccy  might be able to have a closer look :)

At a guess I reckon it would have to be either all or none.... will go with none.

JR, i reckon its none of the 155 Lapuas. The're good out of the box and if they had been meplat cut they would not be that far spread for length with the tools you and i use. If you have cut them all then they are all your rejects or fireform lot.

aJR,

I don't think you could tell from a photo like that but I agree with Tony Z if "you" had trimmed them up I dont imagine they would have the spread of measurements you have listed.

Whats the point anyway if its illegal either dont shoot that match or use Lapua out of the box.

cheers

Who won the lucky door prize...you've been quiet lately...you haven't moved to NSW to get some good weather have you?
