Just wondering what sort of benchrest comps I could enter a custom 25/06 in?? The fly shoots look like fun!!

Depends on the weight of your rifle. 100 & 200yd Heavy Varmint benchrest 13.5lb limit. Custom hunterclass 14lb limit. 500m Fly, 600yd and 1000 yd benchrest.

so the 25/06 wld be suitable for fly shoots as a cartridge? what are most people use for fly shoots?

Yes its suitable just not ideal. Any calibre that will go the 500m will do the job, just some do it better than others.

I shoot a 300 Win Mag but the list of calibres is amazing (223 to 300 Ackley and everything in betweenover the years) and it really comes down more to the shooter than the calibre IMHO.

So yes you can use a 25 06
