Hi All , Townsville has just recieved the certificate's from Dave G, a mighty thanks to Dave for this great effort in putting the whole thing together.. To even be in the same company as the Canberra and Virginia 1000yds Benchrest shooters is enough, this postal has allowed something that has not been available to us Rednecks so on ya Dave .. When i told the troops that i had these certificates there was a stunned silence from most as they did not expect anything, except Eric ,he was so pleased at winning something that he was quite vocal i think it had a F a H in it) and then laughter.. Top Stuff..JR..Jeff Rogers.. pic added

This might be a dumb question, but do I count fifteen holes in that target?
Is this a record target or a sighter?

Hi Jimbo

Yep you can count 15 holes and this is a record target and there will be another 5 there just out to the left under the corner of the certificates because this looks like JR's HG record targets from our last match.

As all of the shooters up here get to keep there targets for a club match we will shoot our two record groups on the one target to try and keep the cost down rather than having to continually bring targets in from the US. Similar to the clubs that patch out the record targets between shooters.

To denote the shots from the first group we draw a line through the bullet hole prior to removing the target off the board.

Hi Jimbo , So the saying goes, the only dumb question is the one that was never asked.. I was attempting to highlight the certificates actually ,but that's fine ,if ya don't know ,ask.. As Al said we shoot two groups on the one target ,to cut costs ,1st group (with marks) goes 10.45ins and a 89 score .. As i got up from that target i said that i hoped they were all on paper the conditions were that tough ,the lightgun guy next to me had 2 off the paper so i was not unhappy at 10 inch group and roughly near the middle .. Next target that day was about an hour & a half later ,it goes 6.50 ins and a 96 , the mirage was better but the winds were buttugly .. As this 6.5er is i think both small group and high score out of all the groups fired so far this year at all three ranges ,i'd say it's a keeper .. You should come on down and give 1K a go some time ,it's addictive..JR..Jeff Rogers ..ps that's not 17 holes either ,there are 3 double ups (Full target pic )
