Batemans Bay fly shoot

Post by Ian D »

Who's going to B/Bay this week end 24/25. Does anyone have a contact number to pre nom.I did speak with John Rawson whilst in Canberra and he said just turn up?
I would prefer to tell someone I'm on the way.I drove to Brisbane once after nominating by email and the guy responsible
forgot to put me in,he didn't shoot that weekend.
Anyway i look forward to seeing everyone,my wife Leslie will be riding shotgun to make sure i behave myself
cheers Ian D

I will be there to give it a crack as long as that Canberra weather stays away.

For those that haven't shot at Batemans Bay before you will be shooting downhill.

I would also pack a piece of timber about an inch thick to pack under your rear bag.

I agree, leave the Canberra and Melbourne weather at home.

just remember Centrefire is Saturday starting at 9am so be at the range in plenty of time for bench draws and to put out flags and set up your gear.

Kenny,

Too late sunshine...the Fly was on today...too friggin windy to shoot that far today...they don't want anyone to know about the fly so a few of us decided to stay at home.
