First 300 fly for me @ Leeton

G'day all, not long back from the Leeton fly shoot and I had a ball. I have done the 200 mtr rimfire several times, but it was my first centrefire fly shoot. I learnt a lot from the many blokes there, and there was plenty of AV members. Whitty, A.I, Sean Ambrose and his GF Leanne (who was very easy on the eye just quietly) Festa (who was running the show) Trevort, and a few others that I cant remember the names of. It was blowin like buggery on sat and was a little better on sunday. There was some very very handy rifles being used and I was thinking of what I could sell on the way home to start building a custom rifle.
All the folks there were very friendly and informative and all the advice that was shared was to help shooters win and it was a bloody good week end and I encourage anyone thats thinking about doing it, to come next time.

That's the great thing about shooting as a sport; so many top blokes are so ready to help dumb learners like me, and kindly put shit on me when I stuff up so spectacularly!

I have to agree with you Knackers, it was a great experience and well worth the trip down to Leeton. The way the experienced shooters freely gave some of their time and patience to help a new shooter get started was very much appreciated.
