Well its like this a.JR That was only the second time i have ever shot at 1,000 yards so needless to say i am very happy with the results and no i am not building a large capacity cartridge rifle might just shoot a 30X47 next year or even just a 6BR with 95gr projectiles.
Thats 12 months away so we will wait and see but must be somthing different anyone can shoot normal 1000 yard rifles i just like to handicap myself a little.hahaha
But hopefully we will have some of the local shooters from here come with us next year.

Good to hear. After good results with my 22BR with flat base bullets at 1100 yds Ive built up a 30/221 to shoot 220gn vlds and wanted to try it in F class for shit and giggles, but without the sonic crack, I,m thinking the target pullers wont always pull the target, not a problem in 1000yd BR I suppose.
Aussie-Bob, it must have taken some elevation come ups to get to that range, what bases etc did you use.

Well its my Hunter/Class rifle weight is 13.5 lbs PAC-NOR 17 twist barrel 24"long at 500m and 600yards i use CDC115gr projectiles but at 1000 i use 125gr CDCs launching them at 3,000fps i have a 20moa mount and i come up around 36 to 40 inches at 1000 yards depending on the day.
I am seriously thinking of making a 30X47 with a 28inch barrel and shooting the new 135gr Sierras as i have tried them in the 30br and can probable get them to 3000fps but its a bit much for the little case where as the 47 case can probably get them over 3100.
