I was trying to find the picture of your heavy gun on this site but cant..
From what I can remember your rifle didnt have a barrel block. Are you not a believer of this system? What size barrel is it? 1.45"OD 30" long?
Your action glued in then? How would you think a 10" BAT would go holding the above barrel weight?
Cheers

Jeff...
I too would build a HG without the barrel block. Choosing the 10" BAT greatly increases the bedding surface, and when using a large tapered barrel, the weight will not be a issue.
When you say 300Ackley, are you refering the 300weatherby case or the 300WM case?
If off the 300weatherby case, I'd most likely choose the 308BAER caliber. Ease of dies from redding.
With the 300WM improved, redued body taper, steeper shoulder and increased neck length??
I'd use the Shehane HG tracker stock.
I'd be inclined to try a 7mm or 30cal off the 8X68S brass though!!
Cheers

Jeff..
I here that 375 H&H RWS brass is what you use for the 300Ackley. As usual, they say it lasts longer etc..
Regan Greens caliber sounds interesting. 210 bergers must be clocking around the 3000fps mark.
Might just get in contact with him!!
Anyone know of a 10" BAT in a cupboard somewhere??? No.... what a pity!!
Cheers
